Pair of Large Hand Painted Toleware Tea Canisters
A Pair of Early Very Large Hand Painted Toleware Tea Canisters, with Lids,
The canisters date from the first part 19th Century, they are in their original hand painted finish which is in pretty good condition, a little faded and a little chipped but still very attractive
The canisters are painted on both sides and the top in many colours and gold edging, they are decorated with charming hand-painted floral groups on a green ground. There are a few old chips, dints and flakes to the paint, but overall a beautifully rustic and very large which would look lovely in any kitchen design
The canisters are 18” tall and 9.5” in diameter
