This amazing ships lavatory is in such splendid, original and undamaged condition.
Inside the porcelain bowl is stamped by the English makers, ' Blake & Son - Victory 88 South Street Gosport'
Gosport in Hampshire, England was a major naval and military town.
Dating from the 1920's this toilet has a teak lift up seat, there is a pump mechanism to the side for flushing and stamped on the back of the toilet seat is a motto, 'Please flush well'.
Now at Miles Griffiths Antiques store, just off the A59 in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
