Circa 1890, unusual oak and painted Aesthetic Movement bookcase. With a gallery top with elegant balustrades, capped in 6 locations with oak finials. The two open sections with adjustable shelves flank a central large panelled door, painted in the William Morris style. All standing on a later oak base with quarter brackets and six square, tapering legs.
