A stunning set six figural hunting stirrup cups in silver plate, made by the iconic Italian designer, Mauro Manetti.

The six cups are in the form of animal heads:

Fox, Horse, Stag, Dog, Boar and Hare

Each is signed M/M and "Italy".

The set was rather dull so they have just returned from my silversmith's workshop where they have been professionally cleaned, re-plated and polished, restoring them to their former glory. The Hare has a little piece of metal in the head from manufacture so rattles when turned upside down, mentioned purely for accuracy.

Dating to c.1970, they all remain in excellent condition measuring approximately 3 3/4" x 3" x 5 3/4" tall (Hare).
