A very impressive and good quality Late English bracket antique clock, by Gillett and Johnston of Croydon. It has a mahogany arch top case, with a traditional inlaid front panel, adjustable brass ball feet and a thick bevel edge glass and a painted convex dial. The 8 day movement has substantial plates and twin chain driven fusees and strikes the hours and halves on a gong. It is stamped on the reverse with the antique clock number. Overall a really handsome antique clock.
