Large Walnut Breakfront Open Bookcase
Circa 1880. A clean red walnut four section open bookcase. The moulded cornice with a raised section in the center and dentilled details with a simple frieze beneath. The bookcase is divided into four sections, each with four adjustable shelves with foliate carved corbels in the top and base. Beneath the top section there is flat section with a moulded fore edge, the base four panel doors with a single shelf behind, there is further mouldings and the whole piece rests on an enclosed walnut plinth.
