A lovely pair of attractive armchairs. We date these to the early 20th century.

The chairs sit on two sturdy carved cabriole legs at the front and two square section legs at the rear.

The armrests have a flat top which curve out at the front and continue back to meet the wing back backrest.

The small side wings have been well padded. The seat base has been well padded and has a loose reversible seat cushion.

The chairs have been upholstered in a two tone green fabric and remain in a good usable condition.

The chairs are very comfortable to sit on, with the backrest being shaped to provide excellent support for the lower back.

The chairs have an overall height of 35" (89cm), an overall width of 35" (89cm), an overall depth of 36" (92cm), a backrest height of 20" (51cm), a seat height of 16" (41cm), a seat width of 20" (51cm) and a seat depth of 22" (56cm).

The chairs remain in a very good usable condition with only very minor surface marks commensurate with age. There is some minor wear to the material from past use and there is an old repair to one front leg.

These remain a very stylish and elegant pair of armchairs. They are very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
