JAPY Freres 8-day striking French mantle clock
A fine quality French mantle antique clock, the 8-day movement striking the hours and half hours on a cast bell, giving a lovely mellow chime. The top set with a finial over a heavy gauge ormolu case flanked by masked heads with feathered head dress. The movement bears the medallion stamp of the renowned maker ‘JAPY Freres’, dated 1885 and numbered 375, as is the original pendulum. For other decorative antique clocks please visit our website
