Japanese Large Shinshinto Temple Nichiren buddhism rare katana
A unusually large shinshinto mumei katana in koshirae total size is 125cm and blade length is 87cm. Belonged to a practitioner of Nichiren Buddism. Never seen a katana on the current market this large!

Has the lotus mantra on the blade, dragon on saya and Buddha on the tsuka. Blade is not in polish and has a couple of faults and a hagire, potentially why it was offered as a temple sword

Comes with nice old silk bag.
