A large and very grand desk-top brass stationery or letter caddy beautifully cast with mythical heads cast into the front with gothic style reticulated side panels. The dividers are beautifully pierced or reticulated with each section having an internal width measuring 8 3/4".

This is a hefty quality piece dating to around 1860 having been professionally re-polished to gleam. Superb condition with a footprint measuring 10 1/2" x 6 1/2" and standing 8 1/2" tall to top at rear.
