George VI Naval Officers sword in its brass mounted black leather scabbard. Has a gilt brass hilt with white copper bound shagreen grip and original silver wire sword knot. Acid etched single edged blade etched with fouled anchor, crown and foliage. Marked on spine as London made and also marked as retailed by Gieve, Matthews & Seagrove Ltd, London, Portsmouth and Devonport. Highly polished blade with some rust staining. Slight wear to gilding on scabbard but otherwise in good condition.

Approximately 97cm overall and blade length 81cm.
