Very nice early French flintlock with chequered grip that does have a crack right through it but I am told not a difficult repair,Good tight action ,and very ornate gold inserts to the barrel with two crucifixes filled with gold , a little project with the repairs to the grip , but a stunning pistol well worthy of the time needed spent on it ,
