Fitted Steamer Trunk or Cabin Chest of Drawers, Coffee Table

A Superb piece of history dating back to the time when your luggage would be taken to our cabin. This one is leather (vellum), wood and brass bound

The trunk opens at the front revealing 2 drawers, the interior is lined in stripy cotton ticking

The Trunk is good and sound some of the brass latches are broken but there are plenty others to keep it closed, and one of the leather straps is torn, the trunk would work well with a glass top turning it into a very stylish coffee table
The Trunk is 14 ” tall , 40” wide and 22” deep
