A very nice Victorian figured walnut writing slope. It has it's original leather and brass inkwells.
Lower side drawer operated by internal pin. Three secret
drawers covered by blanking panel with spring mechanism operated by a divider next to the inkwell.
Bramah lock with original key. Brass strapping all around this rather lovely box. Black tooled leather. Pen tray with additional storage to both section held in place by small brass slides.
Presented to Mr D R Jones by the officials & workmen of Celynen Colliery 1888.
