We are pleased to offer for sale this lovely, oval, Edwardian Watercolour Portrait of a beautiful woman in an evening gown. The portrait is unsigned, so is by an unknown artist. The subject is a young and beautiful woman with dark blonde wavy hair swept into a chignon at the back of her head. She has blue eyes and is wearing a very pale turquoise dress, with a lacy chemise and a turquoise gauzy stole around her shoulders. Unfortunately, there is no clue as to the identity of the artist.

The portrait is newly double mounted in two tone, acid free mountboard to complement the subject and is ramed in a 1 3/8 inch oval gilt frame.

Condition: Very good. There is no foxing or damage. The mounts are new and the frame is in very good condition.
