An antique, Victorian, cased presentation medal made by the firm of Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh.
The prize medal presented by the Edinbugh Angus Club to Alex J Paton, Forfar Academy, dated 1896-97.
It is unmarked therefore selling as white metal.
The Edinburgh Angus Club was founded in 1840, and instituted in 1841. Its aim was 'encouraging friendly intercourse among the members and the advancement of education in Angus.'
