Sit and enjoy the Christmas cheer in this fine early 19th century yew wood Windsor Armchair. The art of bentwood chairs came to a height at this time, with the top and back rail, and the crinoline stretcher below the seat, all made of yew wood carefully bent to make the chair. The seat is made of a particularly attractively grained piece of ashwood.
In excellent condition, with the glow and surface of yew wood, this beautiful antique chair will always be comfortable. Circa 1820
