Antique yew and elm Windsor armchair.

A great chair with a lot of age and charm originating in the early 19th Century.

Lovely proportions and styling, with the sought after crinoline stretcher. Fantastic colour.

Amazing wear and patina.

Solid, with no loose joints.

Chair 55cmW x 64cmD x 98cmH (41cmH seat).

Historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. Loads of historical repairs (including strengthening behind the central splat), but all is strong now. Some extinct woodworm holes (as one would expect) that have been treated for good measure.
