Australian Aboriginal a Throwing Club, c1890 Tribal Oceanic Aboriginal %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Fine late 19th century Australian Aboriginal First Nation throwing club, c1890. Commonly referred to as a Waddy, a-a or Boondi, these hardwood clubs are used as a weapon in combat or more commonly as a throwing stick for hunting. This is a very genuine example, lovely primitive hand chip carving, heavy for its size at 0.4kg with great colour/patina. Overall condition is good with no obvious issues. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me if you would like to view the item or have any questions.
