An ornate Edwardian sterling silver wax seal holder which is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1901. The original wax is still in the holder. The wax would have been melted over a document and then it was impressed with a personal seal. The maker is Henry Matthews and the piece is in very good condition. Measures 4 1/4" and weighs 30.3 grams.
