A beautiful piece of folk architecture from the Indian continent, the corbel was usually found marking doorways warding off bad spirits from a high point, this one has a Sun Flower at the centre
This Naive carving has a distressed green painted finish, and is mounted on an iron and wooden stand
The ornament is 20” tall, 7” long and 4” wide
