AHS German Leather Cased Set 3 Flasks & 4 Tots
We are pleased to offer this leather cased set of 3 Chrome Flasks and four tots by the German company AHS. We are including with this a leather cased set of stainless steel beakers by the Danish company Ria. Both of these items are marked on the base. These would make a great Christmas gift for the hunting, shooting, fishing sportsman.
The set of three flasks have tops in White, Red and Black, to denote the contents of your choice and fit snugly into the well made antique brown, zipped, leather case, which has a long, over-body strap with a buckle and is marked Burnished Calf Made In England. The well made zip runs very smoothly. The four tots, which are gilt lined, fit neatly into the centre of the flasks, as shown. The bases of the flasks are marked with the lozenge with AHS in the centre and the inscription:TIN LINED MADE IN GERMANY 13 OZ.
We do not know whether the company AHS is still in existence, but we know that it was in operation during the post WWII period, as some of their items are marked as being made in Germany in the US zone. However, they seemed to specialise in hip flasks and the like, some of which predate WWII.
The Danish beakers are made in stainless steel and bear the inscription STAINLESS STEEL RIA DENMARK and a number which is partially missing. They are enclosed in a burgundy calf skin case with a strap and popper fastening, which bears in gilt letters the inscription Calf Skin Made in Britain.

Each flask contains 13 oz
Shot: 1 9/16 inches - 4.1cm
Shot diameter: 1 3/8 inches - 3.4cm
Beakers in case: 2 3/4 inches high - 7cm
Single beaker: 2 1/2 inches high - 6.35cm
Diameter of top: 2 7/8 inches - 7.25cm
Materials: Tin lined Chrome, Stainless Steel & Leather
Condition: All items are in very good condition with minimal wear.
