Adam Style Mahogany Hoop Back Chair

Super quality Georgian style mahogany chair in the Adam taste, of particularly good weight of timber, having a hoop back with caning and central mahogany sunburst panel, above a shaped dished cane seat and raised on elegant reeded square tapering legs with floral paterae. Ideal for use with a desk.
This chair would almost certainly originally have had a loose squab cushion to the seat we would be pleased to advise regarding provision of a replacement.
Width 21″ (53cm) Depth 20″ (51cm) Height (overall) 36″ (91cm) Height (seat) 17” (41cm)
Condition and Details of Restoration
This chair is in original and completely sound structural condition. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some minor old marks, but nothing particularly noticeable. There is some extremely minor damage to the caning, but certainly nothing serious enough to affect its structural integrity .
