A superb example of the 19th century country low splat back English Windsor Armchair. Made of ash wood, with an elm seat and a fruitwood shaped and pierced splat. The turned legs are united by a crinoline stretcher.
The chair has been cared for all of its life the condition of the structure and wood is exemplary. Circa 1840
