An 8 day longcase clock by John Wignall of Ormskirk . This maker was working between 1777 and 1809 and a member of a large family of clock makers .
The 8 day clock is very typical of Lancashire work in well made case of oak and mahogany decoration . A long trunk door with side pillars , Swan neck pediment , cantered corners to base and standing on ogee bracket feet .
The will made Dial by Wilson of Birmingham has twin arabic minutes and hours . With very well made 8 day movement .
