George II Indenture dated 20th July 1737, between Edward Hilton of Ofterland in Saddleworth in the County of York, a Yeoman and William Radcliffe of Milnsbridge in the Parish of Huddersfield, a Gentleman. For the sum of £50.00's Edward Hilton purchased from William Radcliffe,a Messuage (House), 2 Parcels of Land, Woods and Pathways.

Beautifully Initial Penned 'This Indenture' Hand written onto Vellum with a nice Edward Hilton Seal at the base, plus 3 Blue Six Pence Embossed Duty Stamps and a good Vellum Tax Franking with 'A Crown and the words R 10', within a circle. On reverse has a George II Cypher.
