Whytock & Reid Chinoiserie Mirror
Circa 1900. A green and gilded chinoiserie mirror by’ Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’ after a designed by ‘Sir Robert Lorimer’. The shaped and curved pediment with gilded chinoiserie work including acorns and leaves. The bevel edged mirror is contained in a neat frame, painted green with chinoiserie panels on the sides in various locations. The pattern and design is typical of that of Sir Robert Lorimer which was executed by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh.
