A wonderful set of Sampson Mordan Scales in excellent condition dating to around 1880. The oak base is in superb condition and the receptacles for the weights have been relined with wine red velvet to match the original lining. The full set of Mordan weights are present and these are also in excellent condition. The brass scales have been stripped and thoroughly cleaned. The base measures 20 x 10cm and the height of the scales is 9.5cm.
