Huge 19th.c. gilded overmantle mirror c.1870. Standing an impressive 84″ (or seven foot) tall. Leaf pattern frame with superb wired gesso decorations and original gilded fininsh aged to a very attractive mellow gold colour. Very good condition, some minor damage, fitted with a new mirror plate and retaining the original backboards.
