A rare & delightful mantel timepiece. The ‘balloon’ case is entirely covered in (Faux) tortoiseshell (i.e. horn) set off by solid silver bezel, feet and silver plated back door. French 8 day, top mounted lever platform movement. The convex enamel dial with Roman/Arabic numerals & signed John Bagshaw & Sons, Liverpool (retailer).
