Sword mandinka Senegal
This is a typical mandinka sword this type of weapon is found in Senegal, Mauritania, marli and Gambia. It has a very heavy blade that could well be from a French cavelry sword , the scabbard is highly decorated the blade is firm in its hilt overall a good example of this type of weapon.
