A beautiful, small antique jewellery box, dating from around 1890, made of ebonised wood and brass. Originally made as a box for a pocket watch, it has been newly lined with gold velvet and moiré silk, and would make a perfect presentation box for a jewellery gift, or to store small items such as earrings or cufflink. The box has inlaid brass decoration and plate on the top which could be engraved. It has a brass push button catch and hinge, and the bottom is covered with black felt.

Dimensions: Width 7cm, Depth 9cm, Height 4.5cm.

The box is in near perfect condition with tiny marks to the wood. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures. The jewellery pictured is for illustrative purposes only and is not included.
