Silver Roman Spoon
Silver Roman Spoon with a barley twist handle-also know as a Cochlearium (small spoon with long tapering handle.
There could be a very old repair to where the bowl joins the handle or it could just be how crudely it was attached when made.
Circa 4th century AD, a very nice addition to any artefact collection. 14.5cm long.
