A Beautiful English Solid Silver Pair Cased Verge Fusee Pocket Watch in excellent condition and working fine having just had a service , by famous London maker John Gilbert listed in Loomes directory and with Full Silver Hallmarks for London 1812 George 111 period,
Both in inner and outer cases match and fit well together
Still with the side press button to open the case , the case is in excellent age condition all hinges are good no spilts or repairs , white enamel dial with black numerals still in excellent condition without cracks or chips, gold coloured hands , original bulls eye watch glass only a slight crack near to the 4 O'clock but hardly noticeable on the bezelled edge , original watch stem with good fixing
Outer case with old repair paper , Wilson of Beith
Beautiful Verge Fusee movement, with pierced balance platform and lovely engraving
Movement working fine with a strong tick and keeping good time for Verge fusee watch of this age 211 years old , come with watch key
Outer case 55mm Diameter, inner case 48mm diameter , weight 132 grams
