Silver Pair-Cased Verge Fusee pocket watch 1834
A Solid Silver Pair Cased Verge Fusee Pocket Watch still in excellent working condition with full Hallmarks for London 1834 both inner and outer case match
The watchmakers name on the movement John Pizzi Gravesend no 1326 with watch repairers papers from Farningham which is not far from Gravesend
Very lightly engraved on the back of the inner case is the name Tho's Allen Wrotham
Both case fit well together, still with bulls eye watch glass
Comes with a really nice old watch key
Condition
The watch is in overhaul excellent condition for its age 187 years oldBoth outer and inner case hinges all fine and with a strong top loopStill with side button to open the case and works Inner case does have a spilt under the front open place "see photo", but really does not soil the case Fusee movement with lovely pierced balance cock
Movement nice and clean takes a full wind and running well white dial, black numerals, black hands, dial does have unusual age hairlines cracks but really not to bad
With bezelled edge bulls eye watch glass
