A rare silver mid Victorian open face keywind pocket watch, hallmarked for London 1864. The watch is complete with a key.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black hour markers that are spelled out GEORGE BAXTER with outer minute divisions. Very rare to find signatures on the dial as markers. The dial has blued hands and the protective glass is in good condition.

MOVEMENT: The fusee lever movement has a silver disc regulator and is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is protected by a dust cover. The movement is numbered: 1864.

CASE: The watch lies in a silver open face case with a rubbed engine turned finish with a monogram free cartouche in the shape of a shield. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for Silver London 1864. The bow is hallmarked as well.
