Silver John Forrest Fusee Lever Open Face Pocket Watch Hallmarked for Chester 1900 - Worldwide Shipping!!
A silver open face keywind pocket watch made by John Forrest, hallmarked for Chester 1900. The pocket watch is complete with a key.
Dial: The silver dial has applied golden Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial has beautiful engraving which is done by hand.
Movement: The fusee chain lever movement has an engraved cock, polished silver regulator with silver sector index. The movement is in a great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Chronometer Maker To The Admiralty, London E.C.”. The movement is protected by a dust cover which is signed: “John Forrest, London” and numbered: 79939.
Case: This pocket watch lies in an open-faced silver case with an engraved finish with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case has English hallmarks for Silver Chester 1900. And is numbered: 939
