Silver Full Hunter Pocket Watch
A silver full hunter pocket watch. An enamel dial with Roman numerals, an unusual feature to the dial is that each numeral is on a raised bubble of enamel. A verge fusee mechanism signed by maker 'Raper, Thirsk, 71994'. Silver hallmarks to the case for London 1844. Sydney Raper of Thirsk is recorded in Loomes 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World' book as working 1840-1851.
