Set of 8 Walnut Chairs by Arthur Brett of Norwich Walnut Dining Chairs Chairs %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Circa 1970s. a quality set of eight walnut dining chairs, consisting of six side and two arm chairs in the Queen Anne style, each of the chairs is stamped Arthur Brett (Famous Cabinetmakers from Norwich). The tall chairs with shaped and curved top rail, a wonderful solid splat which is shaped and curved. The solid, scooped arm rests finish with a Sheppard crook supported on turned solid walnut uprights. With leather upholstered seas, a simple shaped seat, standing on cabriole legs with quarter blocks finishing on a simple pad foot to the back, the front legs with extended s-scrolls to the side of the knees finishing on an elegant foot.
