A stunning and ingenious Danish rosewood extending dining table, this patented design was made by Skovby around the 1970’s. This table is of amazing quality and is very heavy, it has a unique mechanism to open out and extend. There is a large built in disc beneath the top, that when spun round separates the top into three sections. Then there are three additional leaves stored beneath that pop up to extend this to seat up to nine people. We have had this completely stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout with a beautiful colour and striking grain patterns.
