Rocking old father time Mahogany longcase clock
A fine, local, mahogany Longcase clock by Tomas Brass of Guildford.
8-day weight driven movement, striking the hours on a bell with anchor escapement. The brass dial having chapter ring and spandrals, subsidiary seconds, calendar and a painted Old father time within the arch, together with a painted background. He rocks with the seconds.
The case is of mahogany with fine flame veneers, Complete with orinal and working lockes.
Serviced and guaranteed for 3 years.
Thomas Brass is recorded as working from 1767-84.
