A very pretty Regency period mahogany cheval swing mirror. The mirror is made in two sections and is shaped at the top this is supported by two square reeded upright columns. The base has two drawers sitting on very elegant shaped legs terminating in the original brass cup castors. This mirror is in excellent strong condition throughout. The mirror glass is in very good condition. Overall sizes:20”(50cms) wide, 24 ½ “(63cms) deep, 56 ½ “(143cms) high. Overall mirror sizes: 16 ½ “(42cms) wide, 33”(83cms) high. Date circa 1810. I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
