Description: A pair of Louis XV-style shelves complete with mirrors, dating back to the second half of the 19th century.

The mirrors feature a contoured profile with broken, sinuous lines typical of the period.

The cymatium features a central pediment pierced and carved with shell motifs and supple leafy scrolls.

The lower section features a central scroll motif that serves as a visual highlight.

The shelves have a crescent-shaped support surface with a smooth, moulded edge, suitable as a base for small decorative objects.

The central support tapers downwards and features a carving of acanthus leaves superimposed on symmetrical lateral scrolls that converge towards a scrolled finish.

Condition: Good.

Provenance: Rome, 19th century.
