A lovely pair of bedside cabinets. We date these cabinets to the 1940s.

The cabinets sit on a recessed carved front. Both cabinets consist of a single side alternatively hinged door in a serpentine shape. The doors are fitted with pierced brass handles mounted on backplates. The cabinets have a large shapely gallery back. Originally the cabinets would have flanked their own headboard.

The cabinets each have an overall height of 38.5" (98cm), a table top height of 21” (53cm), a width of 20” (51cm) and depth of 13.5" (34cm).

This lovely pair of cabinets remain in a good condition with some surface markings commensurate with age and usage.

These remain a very stylish and elegant pair of cabinets. They will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
