A pair of mid century French Macassar ebony bedside cabinets with striking veneer. The pair are oval shaped with a single drawer sitting on turned tapering ebonised legs and fitted with gold metal ornamentation.

To emphasise the striking veneer the cabinets were originally finished in a high sheen lacquer. There are a few minor scratches on the lacquer that are hardly noticeable. Overall they are in very good condition.
