Oriental floral hand knotted Abusson wool rug
Antique large Oriental olive ground floral hand knotted Abusson wool rug.
This is a lovely quality item, that is quite rare and unusual.....very different, an amazing pattern and colours.
We are unsure of the age of this item, but believe that it was made during the second half of the 20C.
The colours are still reasonably bright and the rug has only light wear and minor marks.
Beautiful floral decoration.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 230cmW x 285cmL.
Historic marks, wear and imperfections, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antiques. There is a section of green needlepoint missing, approximately 3 stiches wide and 2 feet long on the inner border (not fraying or becoming unpicked)......really not noticeable on such a busy rug.
