Narrow French Empire mahogany marble top console table and mirror c.1820. Tall pier glass in a well figured mahogany veneered frame topped with a moulded triangular pediment and flanked with a fine pair of half columns with brass mounts top and bottom. Over demi lune console table, just 30″ wide, with original grey marble top. Frame mahogany veneered apron with a single oak lined drawer. Note how the columns from the mirror are repeated as front supports, also with quality brass mounts. Over a conforming plith or display shelf, also veneered to match and raised on turned bun feet. Some repairs and restorations, generally excellent condition and very good colour, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
