Circa 1970, an oak 2 tier tea trolley by Mouseman Thompson of Kilburn, North Yorkshire.
The rectangular shaped trolley has 2 tiers in its oak frame. The top tier and the bottom tier have a slightly raised gallery which continues all the way around. The uprights on each end finish on a slightly domed top, and 1 of these has the classical carved mouse at the top. The tail of the mouse tapers down the side of the upright. The trolley is light in colour and its square legs continue down, finishing with quite a retro castor. These castors can be original to a trolley of this period. The oak in the uprights can be seen and is quarter sewn as are the 2 oak panels in the surfaces. The whole piece is held together with peg joints. It is a quality piece of late Mouseman antique furniture.
