Mid Century Italian Commode in Solid Cherry

This commode chest of drawers on stand is of Italian Design from the 1950’s with strong attributions to Paolo Buffa. The Chest is produced in Solid cherry it has four drawers each with dovetail joint construction, boxwood inlay crossing in the center where a solid brass pull handle sits, the leg are curved and cross over in the middle with subtle carving at the top of each leg and a tapered turned central support with bobbin turnings to the middle, the drawers run smoothly and the cabinet has been french polished and is in excellent condition throughout
