Meredew Pair of Mid Century Bedside Cabinets
Pair of Vintage Bedside Cabinets
Made by Meredew in the 1950s, this petite pair of beech and light oak cabinets with brass knobs are designed to sit either side of the bed. Each has a drawer and cupboard with one internal shelf.
The cabinets are solidly made of beech, with the drawer fronts in contrasting light oak. They are good quality, well made with dovetail joints.
Dimensions of each cabinet:
Width 31.5cm, Depth 30cm, Height 64cm.
The cabinets have been restored, with the original varnish removed to reveal the grain. They have been oiled and finished with protective wax. There is a mark on one side of one cabinet (see picture 4) and slight colour variation on the top surfaces. Although they are a matching pair, each cabinet has unique wood grain. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
Please note the lamps are not included but are available for sale separately.
